Everyone knows the annoyance of a cracked phone screen, and in the UK up to £1bn is spent of repairs a year. O2 decided to change this, by making free screen repairs a core market proposition – the first time this had been done anywhere.
Rockbox created a series of digital OOH screens that had been turned into smashed mobile phone screens – a simple idea, that was very effective. O2 can connect with their young audience with a purpose built ‘holding’ of carefully selected sites, which they can access at any time.
O2 and Havas/AdCity were the 2018 The Drum Grand Prix award winners!
